About Jagananna Amma Vodi 2024
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, would directly deposit Rs 6595 crore into the bank accounts of the Amma Vodi List recipients. A total of 82,31,502 kids enrolled in classes 1 through 12 will benefit from this funding help. Every low-income woman enrolled in the program receives a monetary support of Rs 15000 for sending her children to school.
The financial aid will be credited to the mothers’ bank accounts. The government has given this amount to 42,33,098 people. Under this initiative, mothers who want to send their children to school can apply for up to RS 15,000 in financial assistance. Objective of Jagananna Amma Vodi 2024
The initiative was developed by the Andhra Pradesh chief minister with the aim of reducing the state’s school dropout rate. As the plan develops, financial assistance of Rupees 15,000 per year will be provided to all recipients. The mothers who send their children to school despite financial difficulties will receive a direct deposit of this money into their bank accounts. This program will be partially funded by the Andhra Pradesh state government and run till the student graduates from the Andhra Pradesh school for which they are applying.

- The recipients will only get the payments through online or direct benefit transfers.
- The beneficiary will not be compensated if they decide to stop going to classes.
